Have your say on the Uptown Core Growth Area Review

Join us for a public information meeting on June 17, 2025

The Town of Oakville invites the community to attend a public information meeting (PIM) on the Uptown Core Growth Area Review. The event will be held on June 17, 2025, at Town Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with a presentation at 6:30 p.m. 

This meeting, originally planned for May and rescheduled to June 17, is the second PIM for the Uptown Core Growth Area Review. Based on input received in 2024 and early 2025, the town will present two, high-level, preliminary land use scenarios for how this area could evolve in the future. Following the presentation, attendees will be able to review both options and share their thoughts on elements that best fit the vision for the Uptown Core. An online survey will also be available closer to the meeting date. 

This is an information meeting where no decisions will be made. Input collected from this session and the online survey will help shape a preferred scenario which will be available for additional engagement before it is considered by Council later in the year.
