Notice of Heritage By-law Amendment 2025-061

On March 17, 2025, Oakville Town Council resolved to pass By-law 2025-061 to amend Heritage Designation By-law 2021-136, being “A by-law to designate St. John’s United Church at 262 Randall Street as a property of cultural heritage value or interest” for the following property under Section 30.1 of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. O.18:

Lots A and B and Part Lots D and E, Block 4, Part Lot 1, Part 1, 20R17371; OAKVILLE. Subject to ease in favour of Part Lots D and E, Block 4, Part Lot 1, Part 2, 20R17371 over Parts 1 and 2, 20R17445 AS IN HR611286

In accordance with Section 30.1(9) of the Act, any person who objects to the amending by-law may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal by forwarding to the Tribunal and the Town Clerk (at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 or at townclerk@oakville.ca) within 30 days after the date of publication on the Town’s website, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the amending by-law and the reasons in support of the objection, accompanied by the fee charged by the Tribunal. A copy of the appeal form is available from the Ontario Land Tribunal website. The last date to appeal this By-law is April 22, 2025.
