Highlight key and upcoming events for the City on a given page. To add the 'Featured Item' widget you will need to add a 'Featured Item Carousel' to your desired page, followed by the 'Featured Item' widget.
The required section is found second from the top in the left hand column, and the widget will be the only available widget in the widget menu when you go to add to your section.
Once the widget has been placed, add item details to your widget by following the steps outlined below.
Note: repeat the steps below to add additional items to the 'Featured Item' carousel. It is recommended to have no more than 4 items in the carousel at a time.
Edit the widget by right clicking the 'gear' icon found in the blue bar.
Add relevant details for the featured item including 'Title', 'Content', 'Link' (internal or external), and an associated image and select 'Save'.
Your 'Featured Item' will display on the page. To preview how it will look on the live site, navigate to 'URLs' found under the 'Properties' tab along the top of the page.
