Gallery Widget

Add visual interest to a page with the addition of a 'Gallery' widget.

The 'Gallery' widget is found in the second column near the top of the Widget list.

Adding to the Gallery Widget

Once the widget has been placed, follow the steps outlined below to populate the gallery. 

Step 1

Highlight and right click the page you wish to add the folder under and select the 'Content Container' page type from the pop-up list.

Note: you can also add a content container under the selected page by pressing the '+' icon along the top of the tree.

Step 2

Name the container and select 'Save'.

Step 3

By default the 'Content Container' is empty. Before you can add images, you need to add a 'Gallery' folder. 

To add a 'Gallery Folder' highlight and right click the 'Content Container' and select 'Gallery'. Name the container and select 'Save'. 

Step 4

You're now ready to add images to your gallery.

To add images to your gallery, highlight the gallery folder and right click and select 'Gallery Media Item' from the pop-up list. 

Step 5

Once created, add the relevant details your gallery item, including a 'name', 'image' and 'image alt' and select 'Save'.

Note: you can add additional 'Gallery Media Items' by selecting 'Save and add another'.

Step 6

Finally, assign the gallery folder to the gallery widget by selecting the 'gear' icon on the widget, navigate to the gallery within your content container and select 'Apply'.
