Add a 'Events Calendar' widget to your page to provide an overview of all events happening throughout Oakville. The 'Events Calendar' widget is found near the top right of the 'Widgets' menu.

Once added, edit the widget properties to provide your 'Events Calendar' widget a title if desired.

Adding Events

Once the widget has been placed, you will first need to add an 'Events Folder' item under the page you've added the widget to. To add a folder, follow the steps below.

Step 1

Right click the page you wish to add the folder under and select the 'Event Folder' page type from the pop-up list.

Note: you can also add a folder under the selected page by pressing the '+' icon along the top of the tree.

Name the folder and select 'Save' in the upper-left corner. 

Step 2

Repeat the above process to add an event (or recurring event) to your 'Events Folder'. Fill out the required fields ('Title', 'Start Date', End Date'), and any additional details you'd like to include.

Step 3

Once saved, your events will begin to auto-populate the 'Events Calendar' widget.

Note: your events will not display in the Kentico editor and you will need to save and preview the page to view in the calendar.
