Showcase all the City Staff by using the 'Councillor' widget on a particular page, or display Councillors for a particular ward on their respective ward page. The 'Councillor widget' can be added to both the main content or side nav sections of a given page.
Once added to the page, follow the steps outlined below to populate the 'Councillors' widget.
Step 1
Highlight the page you wish to add a new councillor under in the site tree. You can add a new councillor by right clicking the page and selecting 'Councillors Page' from the pop-up menu, or you can add a 'Councillors Page' by selecting the '+' button along the top of the site tree.
Step 2
Populate the councillors page with relevant information including their name, bio, and a photograph.
Note: staff photographs should be formatted to a dimension of 570x950.
Step 3
Once you have finished adding the details, select 'Save' in the bottom right corner. Councillors will then begin auto-populating in the widget.
'Councillor Page' details auto-populate the 'Councillors' widget once saved.
If you wish to populate the widget with page details from another location, edit the widget properties.
- Select the 'Gear' icon along the top of the widget
- Expand the folder and navigate to the location of existing 'Councillor Page' items in the site tree
- Add the selected item to the chosen item section and select 'Apply'
